Capricornia Business Awards 2016, right in time for our 21st Birthday

On Friday the 11th of November Team A&B Mylec attended the 2016 CQ Business Awards - held at the Rockhampton Leagues Club. The event was attended by over 350 guests representing 58 companies from the Central Queensland Region. We were proud to be considered for two of the twelve awards won on the evening, with our nominations being for the:

  • "Most Innovative Business" Award and the
  • "Best International Export" Award

Early into the evening our pride turned into joy, when it was announced that our team had won the "Best International Export" award. When interviewed by the Morning Bulletin, our Director of Technical Services Andy Meyers and IT Manager John Cook said it was great to celebrate the win with the team:

“The best part about winning an award like this is the recognition for the team in continuing to deliver exceptional value propositions for our clients and delivering fantastic customer services that results in repeat business"

While we didn’t pick up the “Most Innovative Business” Award, our drive and determination should see us return for more success next year:

"We will continue our approach of understanding our client’s business to identify areas where we can apply the latest technology or to develop and innovative approach to deliver a compelling value proposition and to implement this with an exceptionally high level of service excellence.”
